It’s been 18 years since we have been away all together as a family. Such a lovely home and a lot of thought on how to make life easier for families of autistic children e.g. child-friendly locks, wetroom bathroom, sensory corner toybox, and so much more. I would definitely recommend Sungate!

Sungate is an absolute sanctuary for people on the spectrum. Holidays for us usually start shaky, but from the moment we walked through the door he was so happy and relaxed, the smile on his face when he saw the swing and wizzy dizzy chair was amazing. He was so happy and settled from the moment we got there, he slept like a dream the first night! Which is unheard of for us, so that in itself was priceless!

We have stayed at Sungate three times and loved it every time! We have 3 children who all love the toys and sensory elements in the house - the girls especially love the lights and projectors in the bedroom and the egg chairs for snuggling into when they need some calm space.

This was our second stay at Sungate and it won't be the last i'm sure. Tamsin and David have really thought about families and their needs; their regular check-ins and pre arrival call makes you feel welcome and supported.

We had the most amazing stay at Sungate. Tamsin and David took care of everything. The communication with them was the best we have come across and the house was so well fitted to our family. Spinny chairs were a huge hit. the safe space bed had our child sleeping so well. Thank you Tamsin and David for making it all so wonderful and easy for us. we can't wait to visit again.

David and Tamsin are incredibly thoughtful hosts and went above and beyond to make sure the house was safe, inviting and comfortable for my daughter, even including a social story before our holiday and symbols and a communication board to use while we were there. The facilities are great with very comfortable beds and an amazing powder rain shower as well as a bath.

Sungate is a beautiful bungalow. It’s absolutely spotless inside and you’ve thought of everything when it comes to travelling with an autistic person, and so relaxing for us too as we didn’t have to move things or worry about anything.

Great house! Recommended to anyone with or without autism. My granddaughter loved the bedroom with wall lights and projector. Would definitely stay again. So near Bath also!
